DO you still have the orginal installer CD? You might want to try a “repair” or a reinstall to see of this goes away.

You can export AVI directly from Avid (export, options, etc.) but you will be limited to a 2GB file limit. For uncompressed standard definition video, that’s roughly 2 minutes.

XPress Pro 4.6 is the version needed for 10.3. Check Avid.com for exact version on the Xpress Pro product page/sytem requirements.

The ability to import comments back into the timneline is now an open format (since 5.0) and locators can be exported and imported as TAB delinted files.

It’s “CTRL .” It’s hard to see but it is saying hold down Control + . which means Control Key while hitting the the period “.” key. Not “Control +”
It would make more sense to just hit the ESC key…

If you are in v.5 or later, you can always try exporting the locators from the one clip as a TAB file directly from the Loctor window. Then go to the clip you want to have the locators, and import the file.
See of that works, I am not in front of a system right now.

Yes, the resulting file can come into a 30i project for playout.

What’s the project type? Have you tried this on a master clip? Do you get the same message?
