I don’t think it’s a big issue as the marketing is the brand, not the individual(s). I can somewhat relate to this; Avid can refer to Academy Award winning Media Composer, but both awards (the plaque and the statue) were for Avid FILM Composer and was originally awarded to 6 people of which I was one. Nowhere in Avid’s marketing are those names every brought up despite my name being on the 24frame patents and the original award. It is what it is. I am proud of my accomplishments, but I am more interested in innovating for the next one than living in the past. That is far more motivating.

You can just AMA link and the filename will automatically be tracked in the “Source File” column which will be used in EDL, AAF, etc. Link and transcode. Most likely with an Arri LogC to Rec709 LUT.

You can, but you need to purchase an AMA plug-in that supports ARRI RAW from either Glue Tools or Drastic Technologies. Resolve is free. ☺

10 bit is not really a concern when working at offline proxy. For offline in Media Composer, you are always safe with DNxHD 36.

As long as you have your code, you can work with the version you have now till you are ready to upgrade and activate. The support license has a yearly expiration date meaning you cannot run a version that is released after that date (assuming you have a perpetual license).

Just to be clear… you are asking what the offline dailies proxy file format should be, not what is being captured in camera, correct?
Camera will most likely be ProRes 444. Maybe ARRIRAW (if so, plan for a 5x increase in storage, backup and transfer times) or possibly DNxHD MXF if that camera has the additional $5K option. Even so, if choosing between ProRes and DNxHD for camera master I would go ProRes as you will get an additional 20 minutes per card.
When it comes to offline dailies, I would recommend that whatever you are shooting camera master wise be transcoded to an MXF wrapped DNxHD as there is no real advantage toProres in the offline process and DNxHD is optimized for Media Composer where ProRes can me Avid managed, the codec itself is most likely not as optimized as DNxHD inside Media Composer.

If making your own dailies in Resolve, then you want to have this setting in Resolve:
You can do your offline just fine in v7.x but consider finishing in Resolve.

So so everyone else can follow along, despite all settings seeming to be correct on the Resolve side, the actual MXF files being delivered do not contain the source file name in the TAPE field of the MXF file. The issue was repeatable in Media Composer as well as looking at the file in the MXF metadata reader from Calibrated MXFQSTAT: https://www.calibratedsoftware.com/Products/MXFImportV3/MXFImportDownload.php

The next step is to go back to the system generating the the MXF files to see what else might be at play to create files without REEL ID being embedded as Tape. Could be a bug in Resolve, a mistep, or other.

Frame based Blackmagic media needs to be put into a timeline first before creating dailies or some metadata will get lost. Send screenshots and we can take it from there.
