    Avid Updgrade Activation

    So I just purchased the Avid deal upgrading media composer for my home computer to the new 8.8.1

    I don’t need to upgrade yet because I have projects in progress at work and home at 7 still but I wanted the deal before it expired but…

    Does anyone know if this activation code itself has an expiration date and if I have to upgrade by a certain date?

    As long as you have your code, you can work with the version you have now till you are ready to upgrade and activate. The support license has a yearly expiration date meaning you cannot run a version that is released after that date (assuming you have a perpetual license).
