No you cannot. Once a group is made, adding, removing or changing relationship is not possible.

Have you tried “ignore extension” setting? Also, were the original R3D files in Avid accessed via AMA or transcoded beforehand in Resolve or REDCINE X?

ALE doesn’t support relink to audio media. Import the AAF files created by REDCINE X and they will relink automatically. Merge ALE if additional metadata is needed.

Can you not just create an EDL for the music tracks only (assuming they are on their own tracks) and add clip name to the comments option in the EDL itself?

I also use Resolve to make native MXF/DNxHD dailies. Not only can I apply a LUT (if CineStyle is used for example), but I have a pretty kick-ass color corrector to boot… 😉

Is the 444 with LogC, either way, Resolve Lite might make for a nice dailies creation workflow in this scenario.

That is very random and strange. Can you share one of these problem files? I’ll take a look at it on my end and try it on both v5.5.x and v6 to see what the issue might be.

What happens if you re-enter the Tape metadata in Wave Agent and try importing again?

I would just create a custom column into which you apply whatever works best for unique identification. Then in the FIND window, apply the filter for which column the search should be performed on.
