Creating Music EDLs for Music Supervisor
Hello All,
My company is currently a Final Cut facility, but has an Avid bay running 5.5. I need to provide the music supervisor with a music EDL so that he can create the music cue sheets. In FCP we export the final sequence with only the music cues in it as an XML and import that XML into Sequence Clip Reporter to create an excel spreadsheet with the necessary sequence TC info. This spreadsheet is what we refer to as a music edl.
Is there a way to create this kind of document from an Avid sequence? Does it export XML in a way that could be used in Sequence Clip Reporter or some other similar application?

Can you not just create an EDL for the music tracks only (assuming they are on their own tracks) and add clip name to the comments option in the EDL itself?
