What version are you running? If I remember correctly, there were some issues with the source LUT updating in a group clip. I am using 8.3 and when using Red R3D via AMA link, the .sync subclip (double system sound) does not have the same color values either. So there seem to be clip types that do no inherit the color transform metadata correctly.

I don’t know if a workaround is available if PPro does not support AMA links defined in the AAF to the camera originals. In Resolve, I add all the camera originals to the MediaPool, then conform to camera originals. You might be able to then generate a new XML or AAF from there that now points to the camera originals. But note that generating a new AAF can be lossy for items it may not understand. Does Premiere allow you to relink to a directory for items in their project?

Some RAW formats are compressed such as R3D (RED) as you mention, and others are not, such as ARRIRAW and DNG. It always pays to get all the details of the format being used to plan accordingly.

If v7 is on the latest point release, you should be fine. Check download center for latest version which is 7.0.4.

Also, expectation in background tasks of transcode and render require more updated systems.

I suspect a lot of the testing was done for 2K/4K and the requirement for systems most likely has changed. I am using an old Z800 and a 2011 MacBookPro with 8.3 but I certainly keep my performance expectations in check.
I think the 5K Mac is still in the testing phase, but if I remember correctly, had something to do with the graphics card. I reluctantly moved to Yosemite because of changes to “preview” and QuickTime, but so far I’ve been OK.
You will need to decide to get on the $299 support by end if year if you haven’t already, but it does not mean to have to install anything until ready.

Strange that it only complains about Track 4. I am going to guess these files came from a Sony XDCAM type camera that always has 8 tracks, even if you only used one or two as in your case. Are you:
editing native with AMA?
consolidate via AMA to rewrapped MXF?
trandcoding to a DNxHD codec??This message may be popping up based on when the unlinking got done and what you are editing with in the timeline when matching back. Does it happen on every clip, or just some of them? Wen you look at the “Tracks” column in the bin, what does it list for A?

From what I understand, on OS X, there is no longer a need to uninstall first as it is all done as part of the install process. That’s what I did all through beta.

Perhaps bins were created on a trial version? Try doing a “save as” and renaming bin, or just create a new bin and move the clips over to that and try saving.
