What? Greyhairs, experience, pictures?
I’m not all that technical. Any help you can give me would be awesome. When I say dumbed down, I’m referring to me needing it to be in simple non-technical language. I’m not talking about anyone else’s knowledge on this board, which would be somewhat silly – given that I’m asking for help no?

Apparently they (close caption company) get shows sent to them on DVD where the TC is on the second audio channel. That doesn’t make sense to me at all – does anyone know of any way to do that?

This is the exact E-mail received.
“I’ve received the programs you require timecoded captioning for but when I checked, there is a visual timecode but not one that is burnt in. In order to proceed, we will need another copy of these programs with the timecode burnt into channel 2 of the DVD.”
