Nevermind…I exported right out of the timeline as XDCAM EX. I just converted it to H.264. Everything is cool. I forgot what format it was edited in.

I’d like to do it in 1080 but if going to 720p makes more sense then great (it’s getting dialed out to DVD for a trade show).

I can shoot the master footage at 720p…but what do I need to do to get the HV20 footage to 720p. Is there a Compressor setting that will work to do the down res?

thanks…I have all of the camera sound inputs covered and can indeed knock the levels down that way which is what I’ll do in a pinch. I just hate compensating in the camera for what is coming out of the mic.
Rather fix the issue at the source.

iStat menus is a little app from iSlayer. It shows all sorts of stuff in the menu bar. I have just the CPU graphics showing…a lot of fun(and reassurance) to watch all the cores cooking in Compressor.

There is a lot of different formatted footage on this TEST Drive DVD…I just had to dig out the format and match it.

I should have mentioned I am monitoring by going out of the Mac Pro through the MXO to a 23″ ACD

Thanks Shane…I’ll give it a shot. This has been a six month ordeal for shooting and post so I need a day or so break from the project before I deal with this aggravating little caper…I’ll post the outcome.
