You won’t have issues with this camera outputting 24p via SDI. My EX3 outputs 24p via SDI.
You should look into the Nano Flash as the KiPro is ridiculously large. IMO Unless you are making a film you won’t ever know the difference between 8 and 10 bit color for the small screen.Good Luck

First off the E3 is limited to 35Mbps and a 16 gig card yields 57 or 53 (depending on your firmware version) minutes of media record time. Not sure who told you about 50Mbps with the EX3 but not true.
So if you use 16 gig cards you could barely make it on the laptop drive. I wouldn’t even attempt this because it might lock up being so full.Either replace the laptop drive with a larger one or transfer directly to the external drive.
You may want to look into renting enough cards for the entire job to be safe. I wouldn’t rewrap the files in the field either because you want the native files for archive and having 2 sets of files can cause human error and something can get deleted.Good Luck

Kino has had many different ballast versions over the early years and they now have the individual switch for each tube and the tubes burn much more constant in color temp. The early days were a mess and those ballast are still around. If you own these lights and they are the newer style you can add 1/8 or better yet 1/4 CTO or CTS to warm them closer to incandescent (2600-2800) kelvin degrees.
If you rent lights you’ll need to test them yourself and let them burn and heat up to know each fixtures color temp.

You say “documentary style”,
I think you should shoot what makes your project the best. IMO 60i would be a mistake for a doc.I believe most documentary DP’s would choose 24 or 25p for a film look.
Both of these formats will convert to any delivery requirement.

The EX codec only provides 4:2:0 color space, and most networks require A minimum 50 Mbps 4:2:2

Personally I like these lights and I think the new units and much better than what I purchased. I like 1/4 minus and 1/4 CTO for the most part and I manually dial the color temp to what looks good to me. If I’m using 2 EX cameras I’ll copy the picture profile I’m using to the SxS card and load it on the second camera.
What is great is using them with battery power in areas where you just can’t run extension cords. I have had 3-500 LED’s for about 3 years and I love them. Now I want 4- 1000’s.

I you want to take advantage of the uncompressed signal look into the Nano Flash external digital recorder from Convergent-Design and you will not only get to take advantage of up to 280Mbps but toucan choose intra- frame recording. Yes I- frame recording
