So you mentioned it can be done with one shot instead of two? I’m not entirely sure how to go about doing that…I mean, if I want two images to overlap one another…how do I go about just editing one in AE and then overlap another?

I have my null and text set as 3d layers…I parented the text layers to the null object so they can all move together, the only problem is when I want to rotate the text, I want it to rotate in like a circle around this streak, but when I rotate the text they look 2D, so in order for me to make it so the text are not 2d, I have to individually rotate/scale the text myself as they move around this streak.

Never heard of these plug ins before…however, I have a question upon starting this animation piece…..I could use fractal noise on top of the layer/solid and then apply card wipe…sorry if I sound stupid, I just never gone through this process before. Thanks!

Thanks man! So correct me if I’m wrong here….I’ll have to create random text (obviously) and use Fractal noise and Particular to create this affect along with the transition Card wipe?

I would want the characters to change randomly. I would want to text random numbers/letters and let them change randomly.

Alright, I motion tracked the footage, but how would I go about getting the letters to loop around the paper and eventually move off the screen? Would I have to custom create it or could I still use one of the presets?

oh, ok….What would be the steps I could take to create that with particular or any effect….doesn’t have to be third party plug in…
