    Hi everyone,

I have a sequence where I created streaks using fractal noise and (kinda sorta like Kramers Serious FX tutorial) and I want random words to rotate around it. Now I’ve gotten the words in place and everything is set…however, when I rotate using a null object (I’ve parented all the words to the null object) I find that I cannot rotate them in a 3D environment…how can I do this? Again, I have the words rotating around this streak.

Is your Null a 3D layer? Is your text a 3D layer? What exactly about ‘them’ (the nulls or the text?) is not allowing you to rotate in a 3D environment?

I have my null and text set as 3d layers…I parented the text layers to the null object so they can all move together, the only problem is when I want to rotate the text, I want it to rotate in like a circle around this streak, but when I rotate the text they look 2D, so in order for me to make it so the text are not 2d, I have to individually rotate/scale the text myself as they move around this streak.
