    Hi everyone,

Recently I posted about transitions that are quick and jerky.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miEB-_En2dI

Here is an example of what I’m trying to accomplish from scene to scene….and I got a response about Sapphire plugins and I downloaded the 30 day free trial…the only problem being–I don’t know how to use them in the way of creating a quick and jerky transition…Does anyone know how to accomplish this or even know how to use these very confusing plugings? Please help!!!!!!

Here’s some a tutorial from GenArts site. It’s dated but it might point you in the right direction.

Some of the effects in the clip you linked to involve time-remapping camera moves, so it helps to shoot appropriately.

Most of the sharp moves could be easily achieved with standard transform controls in AE with motion blur applied.

But if you want an easy-to-use solution, check out Andrew Kramer’s Twitch plugin:

What transform controls are you talking about in particular?
