Has anyone solved this issue? I’m running into the same issue in Premiere on my Winodws 7 x64 system with the 6.0.1 update.
I’m moving to 6.0.3 now to see if it helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The ae disk cache is the only thing on the hard drive. That 153gb is the portion of the 170gb that is used. I keep a large part of the drive empty so that there won’t be space issues. I just need to know is it nessasary to manually empty the disk cache or is there a way to have it overwrite old files?
Also why would I receive this message if the entire 170gbs isn’t in use?

I’m sorry for the multiple posts but I just want to keep everything current. I tried playing the file from a 32bit Windows OS computer after installing the Xvid codec and am still having no luck. The files of course play in VLC and on Mac just fine.

The files play fine in VLC. I’ll continue my hunt. If anyone has any other suggestions I would be extremely grateful.

It does say on the page that the download is for both x86 and x64 OS so hopefully I can find a solution. Otherwise I’ve got a ton of unusable footage. I’m sure there must be a solution out there somewhere. I can’t be the only person to experience this.

I installed and restarted my system but I still receive the same error when importing the clip. Quicktime still displays the video as a white screen with audio during playback.
When I installed xvid 1.3.2 it automatically went into the x86 Program files folder even though the downloader says the program is for both x86 and x64. Could this have anything to do with it?

That can’t be the case though. I’ve designated 170Gb to the disk cache on a 256Gb SSD drive. Only 153Gb of which is currently full. Strange that AE would be generating the message in the first place. Any ideas?

I see that double clicking the effect in the panel will add it to the clip which is helpful. But I’m wondering if there is anyway to assign a keyboard shortcut to apply the effect rather than using the mouse.

So I’ve selected the clip and double clicked on the effect under effect controls but that doesn’t seem to do anything. If I right click the effect Premiere allows me to save a preset but what I would like to do is apply a keyboard shortcut to that preset. Is this possible?
Sorry If I wasn’t clear about what I’m looking to do.
