    Hi

I have managed to get around the problem by creating a .mov file for every text and will assemble it as i need in FCP.

i copied the camera cause i needed the keyframes to be the same for every text change. there is probably a way to do so but i am not too familiar with motion as i need to be, but i have a very short deadline.

Thank you for your suggestions and concern.

    Mike

I think that would be the best option, to redo that clip. Have no idea how it happened but thankfully it was only that one clip.

    Thank you for your time.

It’s in PAL, HDV 720p Captured on a Sony HVR-HD1000E, the source is my primary HDD. There is no plugins for this clip, the only effect is a small colour correction and slowed to 25%. I am also using the full and latest version of Final Cut Studio.

i have done the same with many other clips and have had no errors exporting before.

hi, it all seems to be loading fine all of a sudden. just a funny 5 mins maybe, but i will get some more RAM ASAP preferably double so 6GB. would that be enough to get going?

also i have another question (well 2 actually). i am currently editing a wedding we shot and have found out how to use the multicliping as we used multiple cameras.

    1. is there a way of getting the preview on and external monitor through firewire as that is how it was set for Avid. or whats the best alternative?

    2. on the multiclip sequence when cutting as if shooting live, can i put a fade with out stopping and manually adding one?

    Much apreciated.
this should be all i need for the time being.
