    Hi,

I am trying to get a 3 second clip i have slowed down in FCP (at 25%) – i send the clip to Motion to smoothen out with optical Flow but all i get is still of the first frame and nothing else. it has usually had no problems in the past. i am not too familiar yet as i only been working for 2-3 months with Final Cut Studio. Am I missing something simple.

order of workflow – Set clip in/out > slow down to 25% > send clip to motion > all i get is a single frame?????

i also cannot find anything in the search that helps with my problem.

    Any ideas?

Rather than sending back to Final Cut, try this:

Do what you have to do in Motion and then save the project with a new name. Once you’ve done that, go back into Final Cut and import the Motion project. From there…just drop it on the timeline and render. See if that works. If you need to make changes at that point, right click on the asset in the timeline and select “open in editor”
