Ah no I do not have an AJA card. Actually, I have no clue what that is, LOL. I pretty much have been shooting video/wedding stuff on my own. I’m at the “serious hobbyist” / higher-end amateur level if you will.

BUT…I do have After Effects and know my way around it pretty well. I actually used the suretarget plugin from videocopilot.net for my text layers and motion graphics. Your After Effects approach sounds like it would work well with my workflow. Any ideas on what kind of file size I can expect in the end?

now when I alt click on the pre comp, it won’t let me switch off the continuous rasterize button. ???

Okay so I did check to make sure that was selected and it was, for all layers. Here’s what happens now. Looks like either the camera needs adjustment or maybe the rotation of the text layers.

Notice how the camera switched on me a little bit. It looks like the text layer is still slightly off…

Actually, now that I think about it, I do remember my friend using my camera to capture DV set footage and I believe he may have changed a setting. Do you happen to know where I can find this setting on a Sony FX1 by chance? Thanks for the help!

Yea I did. I was at work when I responded so I couldnt really check it out to much at the time. im home now and actually just looking at it in detail now. I really appreciate the link. Thanks. I’ll let u know how I made out!

Yes thank you, I DO in fact plan on compressing it the same way as the first one. my only gripe then…or should i say “concern,” would be to be able to add an audio track to the existing “post-stitched” file.

Once stitched, is this going to require another compression? Or can I simply save out the file as is?

An older version of QT, it was! I updated to 7.4.1 last night and it seemed to work fine. I rendered all night long 🙂

My settings are set to 45% for both the RAM & memory usage under the “memory & cache” tab
