What is the best way to “add pulldown” and do I set duration to 100% of source or 80% or source in compressor? Really, I have always planned my projects so I have never had to do this before. I always keep the same formats and frame rates just so this would not happen. Well, I guess I should be happy I made it this long.
Thanks for all your help,

I shot it on a Sony F350 XD Cam HD 1440×1080 23.98 35mps. Then I sent it in to color and currently have a 1920×1080 Prores 422 23.98 version or the interview, however I can easily go back to the original secquence. What do you suggest?
Also, as a side note, I have not recalibrated my Dreamcolor in a while because I really could not get it to calibrate on my new Mac editing system (as a reference monitor). I have all the hardware that you suggested in your article, but the calibration did not work. I finally got it to calibrate on a pc and I have not recalibrated since I first got it about 6 months ago or more. Do you know if the problem was ever fixed?

The presets do look good, however the file extention is a M4v and not mp4 so the developer has to re-encode. Is this not the case? I do want to use what I already have, just not sure how to get good results. When I create a mp4, the resulting file looks poor. When I make a M4v it looks fine but has to be re-encoded by my web guy.

Yes I have done those things. One more question. In the monitor firmware field all the numbers are correct for the newest version. However, I do not see REV. A (revision A) at the end. Should I see it in the monitor info field.

Double checking, I did the firmware, I loaded the APS software, but are there Mac drivers I need to load? I do have the disc that came with the monitor but I do not see any mac software on it. I see drivers for windows, but are there drivers for mac and could this cause the problem of the “check the USB connection” loop I am in?

New everything…. Just put system together. Greg Staten
DreamColor Solutions Architect says that color tool will really come in handy as the monitor ages, but it is factory calibrated and does not need to be calibrated again. I have two machines that will not run the color calibration tool, have tried for 8 hours. Giving up on it today.Michael S. Allen

Yes, I have done all those things. I moved it to another system running 10.4.11 and got another error. Greg Staten a
DreamColor Solutions Architect contacted me and said he would send the old 1.0 version of software for me to try. He also said that I really do not need the calibration tool because it is calibrated at the factory for 709. I guess I will keep trying (and reading).Michael S. Allen
