Thank you for your responce. I was running 5.0 and bought the upgrade. I did as the disc instructed me to do which did not include an uninstall of 5.0 but just the upgrade.

sorry for the lack of info, but it doesnt matter what is on my time line weather it just be footage and I am scrubbing to another layer of footage or switching from one layer of text to another. I am not working in any 3D space at the moment just some text and footage for a :30 commercial. There isnt any crazy effects going on either just a few opacity key points. I have also created a new project with no effects and the same thing happens.

    Thank You

But it does work with After Effects which is an adobe product. So will it work with Premier Pro as well and for the record I have but in effort in looking into these two products no reason to be short Carsten

The XL-1 doesnt shoot true 16×9, it compresses the image so it looks 16×9. As for importing the footage into AE it wont fit to the ends but you can scale it up to 102% without any noticable scaling. But further more if you are going to broadcast or will only be showing the project on tv’s the edge wont been seen anyway because of it being out of action and title safe areas

What OS are you using? Did you upgrade your Operating system? What version of FInal Cut are you using? I was using 4.5 when i switched to leapord but leapord doesn’t support 4.5 so i up graded my final cut to final cut pro 5 and got the latest quicktime and everything works well now.
