It’s still happening for me. Very annoying and time consuming to have to change names and move files around. :-\

December 23, 2015 at 3:06 pm in reply to: layer mask and layer order being affected by camera transformVOILA!
Actually, Kalle it worked once i moved the clip to z: 10. I didn’t realize this is the case. I’ve never run into this issue before (except when i had things wiggling in z and they kept popping around in front and back of things). Thank you!

Any other thoughts??

November 24, 2015 at 5:28 pm in reply to: shape oriented along a path rotating wildly before first and after last keyframeI’m confused by your question. I don’t see the significance with regards my problem, and it varies. I’ve increased the time of the path and stretched it out by dragging out the final and first keyframe.
The length is no problem. When it’s within keyframes it’s fine. It’s definitely the auto-orient prob, because i turned that off and now it’s not rotating. But. it would be great for me and much less time-consuming if i could auto-orient while on (elliptical) path. any way to do that? and/or get it to not wig out when sitting idle. I think it’s auto-orienting every time the expression for position wiggles. so it’s orienting around like a maniac with wiggle. does that make sense?
I wish to not 1) lose auto-orient completely or 2) get rid of wiggle. so are there any other ways to work around?

November 24, 2015 at 5:21 pm in reply to: shape oriented along a path rotating wildly before first and after last keyframeNow, i’m guessing it’s an auto-orient along a path problem. I forgot to mention that I did auto-orient along path
any way to have it only auto-orient at certain points? or do i just need to keyframe rotation? any other solutions?
Thanks!

October 29, 2015 at 10:24 pm in reply to: Huge Audio Problem: NO dialogue, only music in video clips in compositions (audio problem)They are feature films that i downloaded. so no camera/number of mics.
They are mp4’s. (I transcoded some from mkv to mp4/m4v) a couple of both didn’t work (e.g., the dialog track was gone or very faint but music normal levels — and by music i mean the score/music tracks that help comprise the audio tracks of the film)

But your piddly comments aside, I was hoping to get to what might be causing this odd occurrence. Maybe someone out there knows something deeper than “don’t use AE for audio?”
