HOWEVER! I was just wondering the same thing today and set out to write a script that would do this. </p>

<p>I think you want to make that pink glow attached to the character&#8217;s hand, right? I believe tracking it with the motion tracker or animating it by hand to match the movements might be your only options really. </p>

<p>The motion tracker should work on that image fairly well, you might need to adjust the sizes of the inside and outside box on the&hellip;</p>

Shot in the dark here (sorry light pun) but I&#8217;ve had weird issues like that when i bring in a psd file that has layers with layer styles. They always cause weird issues for me when interacting in a 3d scene. The Classic 3D vs Cinema renderer can sometimes create unexpected issues too but not usually what you&#8217;ve described. </p>

I would use the built in guide except its a slightly different safe area for some of the networks. Some have a lot less space than others or big bug safe areas i have to avoid so that&#8217;s why i rely on their overlay. Appreciate your answer though!</p>

<p>It depends a lot on what type of 3d things you&#8217;re trying to rotate. That link seems to show 3 separate techniques about making 3d text. If that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re trying to do one of those techniques should work. If you&#8217;re trying to rotate a more complicated object- I don&#8217;t think AE has the capabilities to do that without buying plugins.  If&hellip;</p>
