Thanks for the prompt response.

I tried your suggestion – but when I open the re-nested sequence, it shows me the 10″ piece I had nested previously.

What I’m trying to do is see the SOURCE material from the originally nested sequence, but ONLY that 10″ section I had cut out.

I fear I may not be communicating as effectively as need to, but I hope this makes sense.

Dumb question:
What is the minimum version of QT will people need to view files made with QT 7.1.6.

In other words, if I upgrade, will my clients and co-workers also have to upgrade [from QT 7.1] in order to view my clips, [even WITHOUT the new time-code feature.]
