So to confirm, can I can use the assets from FCS2 and not have to reinstall the assets from the FCS 3 disks?

Hi,

Not many people are aware of this awesome little app that allows you open and work with TWO instances of FCP on your machine simultaneously – allowing you to render one project while editing another [or whatever]!!!
Yes, this may slow down the render and/or edit somewhat, but you’ll be able to edit on the machine whilst rendering a different project.

I use this ALL the time – Big time saver.

Just an update for those of you who were kind enough to chime in on this… I did a bit of research and it turns out that if I brought it in from the States from B&H, then I’d only have to pay the shipping [over $800] + 14% VAT and it could be here in a week.
All for a lot cheaper [and obviously faster] than I could get it here in S. Africa.

So, thanks again for the advice.

Thanks so much for writing – I have to tell you – from what I can tell, your product looks amazing!

Now, any chance I can pretty-pretty please try out a Beta version of the new software – the more I think about this, the more I can see this product could save us a whole world of pain with this documentary I’m about to start cutting.
