    Hi Kristian,

I can replicate the problem on a machine with CS4 only. Here’s something interesting. I can only replicate the issue on machines with Multibridge Extreme units, not on machines with Multibridge Pros. Further suggestions?

    Hi Kristian,

No, internally generated clips (bars/tone, counting leader) in PPro CS4, CS5 do not play at HD1080.

Yes, we’ve installed the device drivers after the software.

    Suggestions?

Yes, tweaking the pagefile size is something we’ve tried, but it has not helped with this particular issue. I have turned off multiprocessing for now, but geez, I’d like the benefit of using it…Any one else found the magic combination of settings that fixes this problem?

Was this problem ever addressed? I still get a program crash when accessing the blackmagic prefs in fusion…

Ah yes, I’d forgotten about that. Reset back to its default value when I installed the new driver. Yep, that’ll do it…

    Thanks,

Althought I’m generally happy with my Multibridge (our company has lots of ’em), we have experienced at least 3 or 4 “bad” units which we sent back and had replaced. That’s over 50% of just the units we own…Yes, I believe they have some manufacturing problems.

    Thanks for the response, Tim.

    >>When you pick the framerate with Animation…does it give you 29.97 as an option? (I seem to recall that Animation wants whole numbers i.e.30 fps…)

Yes, 29.97 is an option, and I have it selected.

    >>Where are you seeing the framerate displayed? In QT Player Movie Inspector?

Yes, in both the QT Player movie inspector for .mov and in Windows Media Player Statistics for .avi.

I have gone back into some old projects in which I’ve exported in the same fashion, and have not found any problems in the past. Leads me to believe there is something funky with this project/sequence only. I’m going to try to import the entire project into a fresh, empty project since that has solved some other weirdness I’ve experienced in the past.

As far as getting the sequence out to my audio engineer, we, er, did the old fashioned way. We output to tape…

I use a script from https://www.redefinery.com/ae/ for this. It’s in the section “scripts under development” called rd:Pre-compose. It has worked well for me…

I’m having the same problem almost exactly, and it sounds like this installer may be the culprit. Please advise when we can expect a new installer…

    Thank you,

We went through two DOAs at our studio as well…Apparently not an isolated problem. Gotta do better.
