You found a bug in our setup procedure.
Motion is really finicky when it comes to allowing us to present
dialogs, and it looks like we can’t show you an alert dialog at
that point.

Hi Wayne.

Your AE problem may stem from a limitation that PA current has with AE 7.

Do you have any undocked panels in AE? If so, we’ve found that the PA Set-Up
window becomes non-responsive until you Cmd+Tab away and then back to AE.

We recommend that you dock all panels. Sorry about this limitation.

Let me know if this is your issue.

I’m not sure what the Motion issue is yet. I’ll do a test on the Intel Macs.

Hi Wayne.

Can you follow the steps below and tell me when ProAnimator crashes?
1. Open AE.
2. Create a new project.
3. Add a new Solid to your project.
4. Apply the ProAnimator plug-in to the Solid.
5. Click the “Create 3D Primitive” button.
6. Open the ECW panel.
7. Click on the “Click to Edit” button.

I would assume that by this point, something has gone wrong.

One other question: Where did you place the ProAnimator plug-in?

I don’t know of any limitation to the movie lengths, so
you may have found a bug.

offering a lot of other animation options as well.
