That’s just the solution I needed! I guess I’m just too used to Object-Oriented programming that I assumed this would be possible in After Effects, but your point makes sense now.

To reset the anchor point to its default location in the layer, Alt-double-click (Windows) or Option-double-click (Mac OS) the Pan Behind tool button.

Ah! You’re smart! Turning off OpenGL solved it.

I assume OpenGL causes problems like this often, or is it just with motion blur?
