  • Camera Motion Not Producing Motion Blur

I have a composition with 3D objects and a camera. Motion blur is turned on for everything, and in the composition switch. When I move any objects in X, Y, or Z space, motion blur is created correctly. However, when I move the camera (it is very quickly, so motion blur should be created), no motion blur is created. How do I make it have motion blur just like everything else?

    Thanks in advance!

    I’m at a loss.

Something is obviously wrong, but I can’t imagine what it might be. So I’m going to blame the usual culprit: disable OpenGL if you have it enabled.

You’re still not seeing motion blur from camera motion when you render? Can you post a render so we can see what the problem looks like? Can you post some screenshots of your timeline?

Ah! You’re smart! Turning off OpenGL solved it.

I assume OpenGL causes problems like this often, or is it just with motion blur?

    Thanks!

The OpenGL renderer does not support all of the features that the After Effects software renderer does.
