    Dustin,

Can we see a screen shot showing the opacity values.

We see 2 dissolves at this point.

One ending at the clip and one beginning at the cut for the next clip.

Both look as expected when we import the XML???

Also, did you make sure your import settings are set to Layers ‘Step Upwards’ ?

    Dustin,

We’ve taken a look at your XMl and it seems fine to us.

You have some cross dissolves at the beginning of clips and ones at the end of clips. Cross Dissolve would go from 0 to 100 for the beginning ones and from 100 to 0 at the ending ones. We can’t find any instance here that is incorrect.

If this is wrong please clarify.

    Never heard of that before.

What version of QT did you install?

If you send me the JPEG I can try to take a look.

I mean a lot of that stuff can be tweaked in the QT prefs or by disabling automatic startup items but QT is on v.7 now and I think you’ll find it much more stable.

Glad your issue with FX is resolved.

    Awesome, sounds good.

I know you want to wait for 64 bit support, and I can tell you it is planned for the future. Just no ETA on when that will happen.

    It’s a possibility.

If you are not running QT you really probably should be if you’re doing video work.

I don’t know where you’re perception of QuickTime causing issue is from but most NLE’s are fairly dependent on it.

    Stu,

Did you already have BCC installed?

If you did you already have the filter and this is most likely what is causing the mismatch error.

You could remove the reptilian “free-bee” or install the full package back over it to resolve the issue.

Can you test it real quick in standalone?

Can you try creating a brand new layer instead of duplicating a current layer?
