I’m not positive this will work, but try holding down the CTRL key, grab your clip and move it elsewhere. I believe this will DUPLICATE your clip with all info attached.

With some help from other forums, all is well. I had to work with the EE settings (as well as others) – and I had never even heard of EE settings. The things you learn here!
At any rate, as of today (well, late last night), all is well.

I just walked back into the office here from the edit bay. I have new – and unfortunate info; on a lark, I tried a Print To Tape – – and that worked. As soon as Vegas started to Print To Tape, the i.Link indicator stopped flashing and the deck took the signle. That’s unfortunate, because it means that the 1500 only sees Vegas’ output when it PTT mode and there is no pass-through like there is on my DSR45. I can’t watch my edits on my NTSC monitor via the 1500.
So very dissapointing.
