Thank you for this other fix.

I temporarly fixed it by taking screenshots of frames just after and putting them on the green screen frame to render.
I’m currently trying out what you just suggested, although it is weird because on AME the preview screen is red. I’ll wait and see if the output is red too though.

I’ll let you know if it works. Do you think I could also just convert it to another format not via AME?

    Hi, thanks for replying.

No green screen on the timeline and the original footage is fine too. I didn’t actually shoot it, it’s from a video downloaded online.
Do you know what else could be causing the problem?

EDIT: I actually just realised (when seeing full resolution because it was in half for preview purposes) that it is like another part of the video is added just on that frame. Same for the two frames that glitch. I’m not sure what to do?

Thank you Dan, this totally did the trick! Sorry I’m a newbie, could you tell me what the t represents in the expression? I understand the basics of JS

Well for example I have this selection :
And if I make a work path from selection I’ll have the “brush” for this exact rectangle but I will have to place it exactly where the selection is.. Am I making myself clear?..

Thank you Jeff but that isn’t exactly what I want to do :
If I do that I’ll have the size and shape of my selection but I will still have to place it where I want on my layer and it won’t be exactly like my selection (unless I’m very very precise).
What I mean is, for example in After Effects, when you double click on the rectangle selection tool, it fills up the whole comp size.. I’m not sure I’m very clear but basically if there’s a feature like that when you double click or right click and “Rectangle from selection” or something?

  • I updated After effects and it works perfectly thank you! Only problem I had changed some settings in the old version (shortcuts in the actual file) so now they’re back to normal but that’s ok I can change it again!
    Thanks again, good day

Ok so what I did was that I applied every effect that I liked and looked good, altered them the way I wanted and then hit the fx button and clicked save as on the right!
