Until you sort out the gamma shift settings here’s a quick’n’dirty work-around: Put your edit sequence into a new one (nest it) and then apply your gamma filter to the entire edit in one go.

I’ll install the upgrade as soon as I’ve finished my current project but so far AE8.0.1 has been running ok (and pretty darn fast) in Leopard with a odd coloured OpenGL bug now and again when dragging the timemarker through a composition.

Try muck about with the Lens Flare on a black solid layer set to ‘add’ and use Hue/Saturation ‘Colorize’ on the result to make a monochrome white/orangey look.

My guess is that your client is asking for a steganography mark, IE; something embedded in the image that will remain even outside the digital domain. You have it in Photoshop > Filters > Digimark but I haven’t seen any plug for FCP nor After Effects. Of course you could make a image sequence and do it in PS but I’d ask them for exact specifications. General info here:

Or use the ‘venetian blind’ wipe two times, first horizontal then vertical (or vice versa) don’t let the first one go to 100% complete.
