January 22, 2008 at 10:58 pmalthough there is no mention of a fix for quicktime 7.4… i’m not sure if this will be an apple fix or adobe fix.

January 22, 2008 at 11:26 pmI only played with it for a few minutes but so far so good. At least AE CS3 opened a project for me…that’s more than could be said for it before this update!

January 23, 2008 at 4:19 amThere’s no guarantee of a QT 7.4/AE fix, since Apple doesn’t seem to be keeping Adobe in the loop.

January 23, 2008 at 8:32 amThe Adobe AE blog says “We’re working with Apple to resolve the problem and I’ll post an update when I have more news” about QT 7.4.

I’ll install the upgrade as soon as I’ve finished my current project but so far AE8.0.1 has been running ok (and pretty darn fast) in Leopard with a odd coloured OpenGL bug now and again when dragging the timemarker through a composition.
cheers

January 23, 2008 at 6:37 pmThat new P2 support sure made my day. Just exported a Premiere project and… miracle, I just saved 2 hours in about 3 seconds !
It looks like scaling DVCPro HD from 720 to 1080 looks a lot better here than Premiere, some more welcome news. Not sure how this will translate with dynamic link…
