….God Bless Raylight!! …..alleviated my issue and it was relatively painless…. Thanks for all the help here, guys…. I’m not sure that I would’ve been so patient with me.
Thanks again!

….I’m not doubting your knowledge on this… I just can’t help but think that I’ve done something wrong along the way…… So, I need to get this straight… I’ve
— installed the P2Drive and P2StoreDriver (even though I don’t have the P2Store) from the Panasonic site…
— still having a problem with the P2PCCard install failing…
— unclicked the Remove Advance Pulldown and Duplicate Frames
— Verified and Repaired Permissions
— Plenty of space on scrach discs
— taken a couple of Xanax to get me through the night.
…..God, what have I done wrong?

….I thought that’s what you meant, just wasn’t sure because of the wording….anyway…. it didn’t work…. or least nothing is happening any differently than before…. I’m at wits end.

footage is there… works fine on my MPB… but I can’t load my clips into the bins on my MacPro…. I can see them in the preview window… but I can’t load them into the bins or work with them…. I’ve done all of the suggested steps… and loaded/reloaded all software suggested in this link,
https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/8/971959
….but NOW when I try to install the P2PCCard software…. I get an “Install Failed” message. ….. so….I’ve exhausted most of my “computer” knowledge and I’ve about had it with this thing….

….Thanks, but I mean where do they reside on my hard drive….what MAC/FCP folder(s)… and what in the world am I looking for??
-
….I’ve gone back and re-installed or tried to re-install the recommended software. This time, when I tried to install the P2PCCard linked from Shane’s earlier video.. that the install fails. I’ve also noticed when I’m pointing the Log and Transfer window to the folder containing the Contents and Last Clip files.. that the Last Clip is grayed… I’ve held up pretty well till now,…now I’m getting frustrated with the whole thing.

….absolutely no luck with any of those. At this point I’m thinking the probelm is something sooo basic that, with all this fretting, I’ve just forgotten all about it. Do you think there’s any issues when I’m transferring the files from either the MBP to the Q-Drive…. or even from the Q-Drive to the MacPro?…. a corruption… a file left behind…??…. I’m really at a loss at this point.
