Got rid of Affinity and a Strat 5 years ago for FCP3…that was a step up. FCP6 on an Intel Octo

Well of course one has to pad the input to VHS…what the hell else would you do. The only question is what is the output level of the monitor output of the i/o. Guess I’ll call tech support if the answer isn’t available here. i don’t really require a lesson in room configuration…kinda got the basics when I did my first 1″ room.

No, I do mean the i/o…I’m using the 1082 as a control surface, an analog input device and a monitor. I just want to feed audio from the i/o directly into the analog recorders.

I’m using a Tascam FW-1082 control surface (which is great) and the last thing I want is another analog audio board. I primarily take SDI (DVCPro50) in and out, but like everyone, I’m forced to do dubs to BetaSP and VHS. I’m just looking for a simple and flexible way to do this.
