It comes with your Mac. You could probably use QT X as well, I just prefer QT 7 as it has more features.

I would assemble your timelapse images in Quicktime 7 by importing the image sequence and then exporting a ProRes movie, which you can then bring directly into FCP. Not sure why you would need Motion.

Just drag your text layer to the Favorites folder in the Library and it will be saved with all of it’s attributes to be used again in any project. If the filters, keyframes, etc. are applied to the group containing the text layer, then drag the whole group to the Library.

By the way, how did you force the loop marker to only loop the project twice? Or do you just mean that the clip length is such that it takes two loops to get to the end of the clip?

Yes, sorry, I wasn’t specific enough in my response. The Loop marker overrides the build out marker.

You can’t combine build in/out markers with loop markers. It’s one or the other.

Ok since you are using DVDSP, just export your audio and video separately, create your m2v and ac3 files, and mux them in DVDPS.
