Um – you can’t just uncheck “fixed resolution” on a PSD file – that will only work with a vector file like a .ai or .pdf saved from Illustrator. How did I give the impression it would work on a Photoshop file?

April 19, 2012 at 9:50 pm in reply to: Blur in behavior doesn’t transition off smoothly.Why not just build your own using the Sequence Text behavior (found in the Text Animation folder in the Text behaviors in the Library)? Add the Blur parameter, and opacity, set the values, and tweak as desired.

Actually, the new iMacs are fantastic with Motion5 and FCP X in my experience (and I teach all over) – much better than a MacPro, even with a beefy card.

ProRes in Motion is fine, but tracking/stabilizing a 5 minute HD clip is a massive job and will create a huge cache file. Normally you would stabilize or track much shorter shots – can you break it down?

That’s the problem – you can’t use the same parameter in both the rig AND the snapshot. So if you are already using the group’s position parameters in the rig (I assumed you were using the layer itself), then put the group in ANOTHER group and use THAT group’s position parameters in the snapshots.
