    Did You check your analog output in the KONA control panel? Mine works as advertised when in Component Beta.

    That’s the problem.

    I did read the manual, it says it automatically does a/v (never has), the view multiclip feature is on a/v but only video changes. It takes the first clips audio and lays it on the timeline. when I’m hot switching either keyboard or clicking on the cam, it sounds like audio is taking but it doesn’t appear in the timeline as such.

    The Expansion Slot Utility seemed to do the trick. It was on the wrong assignment.

    Sorry, Working in another room at the same time.

    all the systems are identical Mac Pro 2 x 3 ghz processors 5 gb ram 250gb hd 2 500gb internal storage drives (scratch use)

    we use mixed footage Beta sp, DVcam, DVCpro 50 & 25, DVCpro HD. Everything works fine on two systems using:

    Sequence Preset: DV NTSC 48kHz
    Capture Preset: AJA Kona LH 525 29.97 DV
    Video Playback : AJA Kona 525i29.97 8 bit 720 x 486
    Audio Play back : AJA Kona
