Yeah… That’s pretty close, Don.
The vests that we seem to use are the hunting vests that you see when folks are pheasant or quail hunting. Sometimes you see it with deer hunting. But the issue happens even time when out in bright skies. You’ll see the orange clipping on the screen, not in the viewfinder and really tough to see on the flip out viewfinder screen.
Here’s an idea… Put the vest on someone and just go outside on a bright or sunny day and see what happens.
Our F350 camera will do a pretty fair job, but sometimes it still clips after tweeking the camera in some situations.

Yes, in this case the logos do not change very often.
And I have tried “baking” it with the same results. I guess I should have also stated that exporting out of Motion has the same effect as rendering in FCP.
Here… Take a look at this Vimeo file showing the logo credit roll issue exported straight out of Motion.

That will depend on if your 1080p footage was shot 24p or 30p.
If it is shot 30p, you’ll be perfectly fine. Now, converting from 24p to 60i can have issues. Chances are if the footage was shot 24p, it was shot 24p pulldown, which if it were, you’ll be fine there also. It becomes a real problem if the footage is shot 24p native.
Give us more info so that we can help you out?

Well, first of all your subject sounds really strange…. Kinda like, “Can you help me rob this bank?”
Ripping DVD footage is illegal and no on here is going to help you with this. NOW… if this is footage that you client actually owns or has rights, that’s different. But you need to specify this before asking for something that sounds illegal.
