Thank you very much Chris, I went through DuDuf’s tutorial and got it to work (yay) – that is sooo cool! I think I’ll try using this against some of the shape layer bodies that I created to work on this before venturing to an entirely new platform.

Likewise I just read it to. To the staff of COW, know that the majority of people genuinely value what you do; I can’t even begin to estimate how much I’ve learned here and I’m very grateful for what you folks do. I cannot imagine the gall of some that would misuse if not abuse their phone support. Let alone companies neglecting their own support obligations. Ugh.

To COW, you rock, what more need be said 😉

Just to add another voice to it, I would second that, great group of people, I’ve learned a lot from COW

Garage only works on a Mac doesn’t it? Anyway I did watch one of the video’s on YT with this approach, but the results were, to be honest, quite horrendous.

Installed Audition, though still new to sound I’ve toyed with different views settings and so on but no idea how to isolate an instrument; drats, I cant find this anywhere and yet I know its been done, have seen some wonderful gallery pieces with clearly two distinct soundkey layers for piano and violin. Unfortunately both instruments crossover frequency ranges, so I cant really remove one without affecting another.

If anyone has any thoughts I’m open to new ideas 😉
