Hey Mark, thanks for the reply.

I’m attempting to learn motion. Can you recommend a tutorial that would help me do this job specifically? Can I build the entire thing in motion – or will I need to use photoshop as well? Can I manipulate just one digital still, and change the number on each? Looking for a step in the right direction.

Seriously? What is there reasoning? That doesn’t cater well to students, who have trouble mustering up $40 for groceries, never mind $700 for extra programs that many probably do not want/need. When did apple stop selling FCP independently?

I’m confused. Wasn’t FCP 5.0.4 the first to be compatible with DVCPRO HD footage? If I can select it as a sequence setting, doesn’t that infer that I ‘have’ the codec?
