So I assume that means that I would need a blue ray burner right?

    Thanks for the response

So how can I burn a HD Clip onto a DVD so it will read as true HD and be able to play on an HD monitor?

    Thanks for the reply

    July 19, 2006 at 1:06 pm in reply to: 16:9 and 4:3

As of now I will be having it played back on widescreen tv’s.
I prefer to have the 4:3 video in the middle of the 16:9 so the black bars are on the sides.
So when I export to the MPG 2 file, should I set the FCP sequence to the 16:9 option. So it is true 16:9??
    Thanks so much.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it.
What I did was I just hit match frame and replaced the clips in the sequence all over again. Thanks again

    Great thanks!!
Now….how do I fix the video that I already edited in the sequence to go back to normal 4:3? Do I have to re-edit it? Hope not
    Thanks again.

    Hey Shane.
    That’s a great Reel!
Are you a full time editor? If so, how did you get your job? Did you have a desent reel in the begining? Also, is it hard to find full time editing jobs? Would I be safe if all I knew how to use was FCP? Thanks Shane

It doesn’t allow me to open ANY FCP projects. Our techs tried to reinstall the program. I have a feeling that something is missing and I will not be able to open this particular project again, unless maybe i move it to another computer. Yeah I tried the latest auto save file but still, no access. Thanks anyway. Let me know if you have any other ideas.
