Also, if I wanted to delete the Final Cut Pro App, and re-download it will I loose the Libraries when I first updated Final Cut to 10.1?
Or do all those libraries and bundles disappear once the app is deleted?

    Thanks again,
    Mark

    Hello again,

I’ve tried deleting and trashing the layout window folders under the resources folder in the Final Cut.app preferences but still no luck. The Final Cut Pro log appears and gets hung up on “restoring Window layout.” Anyother suggestions?

    Thanks

After some more digging, I clicked on the FinalCutPro.app and found the layout folder under resources. Should I delete that and try to open up Final Cut again?

    Thanks

Hmmm, I attempted to locate that folder but can’t seem to find it. I have OSX version 10.9.1

Thanks! Yes, I will compress a master file here. I am thinking the dvcpro720p/24p setting from Compressor for the master encoding?

I tried all of this and no luck. FCP seems to get hung up on a specific frame, then crashes. FCP also crashes half way through the “green” render. I’ve never seen this before.

I changed the sequence settings to DVCPRO/NTSC like I’ve always used and Final Cut quit half way through again while using compressor. Not sure what’s happening. Thanks
