By the way, which grocery store do you recommend?
    Just kidding….

  • Douglas,

Thanks for helping out. I’m not familar with this camera. It’s one being used by the CSN film dept. The professor for the class suggested I check with to see how the best way was to import the data on the CF card. I thought he said something about removing the card/holder from the camera and importing it directly into the PC/Vegas via firewire.

Please excues my ignorance but how’s the best way to import data from the CF card into my PC/Vegas Pro 8?

Thanks very much for your assistance.

    Regards.

    Terry,
Thanks for replying. I will not be using a Sony HD camera. Probably a JVC100 or Canon HD1.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Don,

Under preferences, multiprocessing tab, give you a description about
this. I have Nucleo Pro 2 installed. This runs as a plugin inside
After Effects. I utilized all of your CPU and RAM. It’s not cheap but
if you’re a power user, you may want to check it out.

I’m not sure exactly if AE utilizes all the systems resources like NP2 does. But I have Dual Quad Core Zeon 3Gb Processors and 16GB of Ram installed. NP2 uses all of it.

    Hope this helps.

    Pat,

Thanks for taking time to reply. Yeah, I’m hip to the Mulitprocessor in AE. I have Nucleo Pro 2, therefore I’m not
engaging this feature at the moment.

    Best.
