Hmm, you realize that a tablet in 2003 was basically a notebook without a keyboard,
    that cost around 3000 Dollar?
It didn’t have a capacitive touchscreen and it did fail.
So they didn’t change the plan and never build a 2003 tablet…

[Brad Davis] “For business to take Apple seriously in a business environment they have to transparent to a degree before companies drop large sums of cash on infrastructure”

Then the clones will come out before the originals…

[Kevin Patrick] “highest percentage of unhappy users”

Have you read a few comments? A lot of people obviously didn’t
even bother to read the manual and complain about missing features
    that are actually there.

I wonder how the figures would look like if AVID, Adobe, Steinberg etc.
    would publish customer ratings?
I know that there are quite a few unhappy Pro Tools users…

[Shane Ross] “that’s not how it will be seen by most people. They will watch it on a TV.”

    What kind of TV?
    Plasma, TN-LCD, IPS-LCD, VA-LCD, RGB-LED backlit LCD, color-tube?

Too bad one has to produce for consumers – they never use proper
    professional equipment.

[Frank Gothmann] “When the Xserve was dropped they said “nobody’s buying them”. Does that mean nobody was/is buying server hardware anymore? Of course not. They just didn’t buy Apple’s servers. If they had been interested in those markets they would have asked why and improved their offerings.”

Easy -they just have to put linux or windows server on it.
They probably realized that most people don’t care about
    what brand their server is.

[Morten Ranmar] “…the community that help them grow into a toy company”
There are still companies who need your help.
I heard AVID wasn’t doing too good.
Now that is some business model – they are dying to help you
    help them.

[Herb Sevush] “If the system case isn’t designed to be opened and worked on by a skilled amateur”

Well, current mac minis and macbooks pro are designed to be opened and worked on by a skilled amateur!

And you can clone your internal drive to a firewire/usb/thunderbolt drive and work from
there if the internal drive fails.

I have all of my work data on external raid drives and time machine backups
of emails, address book, calendar and other documents.

if you have a spare mini your up and running in minutes.
