I have Production Assistant 2 and if I were to do it again today, I would go with https://vasst.com/fasst-apps.aspx
These Fasst Apps are by the same developer and are easy to use. I only used Production Assistant for the Montage Tool and the Rendering, but I switched to the Fasst App Render Assistant as it was more flexible.

FYI
I tried the velocity envelope and it did stop the animation on my newer version setup, Sony Vegas Pro 13 and NewBlue Titler Pro 4.

I own Mercalli v3 SAL. I just noticed that although the demo installed for me both plugins, I cannot find the v4 SAL+ application to compare to v3.

So, you mentioned it happens on every machine you own. Is there anything similar to each of those machines? Same antivirus software perhaps? I know that is a slime chance that it is detecting a false positive on only the stabilizer plugin and not the CMOS Fixr. How about the way you invoke the installer? Are you using an account that is normally an administrator or is it a restricted user and you put in the admin password when prompted? You could try running the installer with the right-click option to “Run As Administrator”. In my case my account was already administrator.

I just downloaded the demo version of the Mercalli 4 Suite and I see both plugins in SVP 13 under proDAD Mercalli v4 and proDAD CMOS fixr.

August 30, 2015 at 6:32 pm in reply to: Renaming & sorting both video clips & stills to date takenSince Bob mentioned LightRoom, I just wanted to add I use LightRoom for both stills and video and it renames them and puts them into date related folders. It also has the option to place a backup copy on another drive when importing. I tag the media in LightRoom and then when I am ready to work on a project, I search for the tagged media and export that to a project folder structure for Sony Vegas. I can then use the VASST FASST App Media Tool to load that structure into a Media Bin structure for my Vegas project.
