I am really not that good in expression, I wouldn’t know where to begin unfortunately. But im really interested about the new node control, I never heard of it in after effects! Where do you find it in your after effects interface?

Thank you both for your quick answer! Do you know any kind of alternative or script that could help for this purpose?

February 11, 2019 at 4:09 pm in reply to: ”Set work area end” shortcut doesn’t existHey there!
My computer is a Hackintosh with the last Mojave version. If I understand you correctly, I only had the modifiers active because I was making a screenshot with cmd+shift+3, so when im not touching anything my screen looks like this :

And I didn’t reset the AE preferences, so maybe it’s the next step to make it work. I didn’t want to do it because I didn’t want to loose all the other shortcuts that I have modify (because I have a French Canadian keyboard, I need to modify them a bit), but I will give it a try!
Ps: I have a MacBook Pro with also a French Canadian keyboard, and I never had that problem. I can see the fonction ”Set work area end” on it and it work perfectly.

January 8, 2019 at 8:57 pm in reply to: Is there an easy way to cut a selection from a video of an image? Or delete the background of a selection? Rotoscope’s not working for me.On the source footage of the nuns, are they the only part of the footage that are red? If so, I would try to apply the effect ”Color Range” on your shot, and select only the red part of your shot (which are the nuns). It will cut out all the background of your footage. Color Range in after effects work exaclty like color range in photoshop!

December 3, 2018 at 4:54 pm in reply to: Selecting 2D source point in 3D camera trackerFirst of all thanks for your reply. And well, let me show you!
You see, I want to track the face of the actor. The 2D source (at the show track points property) gives me way better tracking point than the 3D Solved option for my purpose. If I really can’t select points in the 2D source option, I just want to understand why, and why this option would be in the effect if I can’t used it!
Thank you for your help! ????
