    Good idea. I’ll see if that helps. Unfortunately, this has been a problem since we ‘opened the box’, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed anyways.

    Sync problems can occur if your recording sample rate is different from your capture preset sample rate. Did you get any warning during capture? If you didn’t this isn’t a likely scenario, but if you accidentally recorded at, say, 32 kHz and your project and capture settings are at 48 kHz, sync problems could occur. In which case, yes, re-import, but change your settings.

    Not a silly question at all, and I appreciate everyone’s input. It’s only present on two tapes and in no matter what camera/deck we use for capture. So, no dice. I just figured someone else might have run into this problem and might have employed some wonderfully devious matting solution that they could share.
