Failing hard drives may also make hangs maybe or other faulty components?

Sure older gpu with new drivers are also a question.

I have seen and some are reporting delay with MC.

So you should be aware of this.

Mostly it is due the machine configuration or something like that but just for you to know.
I have had that on a session and it is really annoying.

There is new small panel getting to the market but really small in a sense of direct command buttons.
    Resolve supports it.

    OxygenTec ProPanel

Not many seen but some users have it and we soon get the reports.

This is exactly what we do here.

We do grade home and will go to actual cinema to see them.

    Revisit after adjustment if needed.

With correctly setup process you get precise result from 709 to p3 so get your 709
as precise as it can be with grade one 24 inch display for example and get some experience on it.

After some features you have pretty clear understanding what is what.

I have worked some features this way and i’m really confident on my monitor setup
and the results i get on big screen like that.

All the super small display with fancy technology name is useless as you are after precision
and not for the cool tech.

In media pool change clips aspect ratio to your anamorphic values you have in material.

This should fix it and windows will behave as intended.

If you say it is 7x% of ntsc which is much less compared to cinema P3
then you have your answer already there. It can not do it.

Also consider how you would have your calibration stored.
Eizo CG series “computer” monitors can store 3d lut for that in the monitor
so it is not dependent on computer or image path (hdmi or display port)

This is the cheap way of grading on Eizo CG model or FSI 17″ grade one monitor (sdii on fsi).

    I would get 24″ myself.

Common entry level practice is to get 99% accuracy REC709 calibrated monitoring that you use
and later in DCP conversion pass you get proper P3 result as it is mathematically converted to be exact.

Please note that you need to calibrate properly. Lets say you rent LigthSpace for 3 days
and get a proper probe for that also rented or hire someone that can do it for you.

All the internal probes, semi pro (print calibration tools may not be adequate) are not giving you the results.
