Sometimes someone just stumbles on some sentence with
different meanings. This is the on i was referring 🙂And we probably have to wait until first machines will ship and
credible people test them out and compare to current machines and GPU’s.On paper it looks promising.

I love 24″ Penta i have in my clients suite.
I have not seen them side by side.
Accuracy you can measure with calibrators.
We got 1% accuracy on Penta rec709 what in my book seems pretty accurate ?
Class 1 i’d say.To have really accurate client panel 47 or 55 is the way Penta guys suggests you set up your
suite as then you have 2 panels on the same technology and they can be calibrated to match.Clients always ask if this monitor is accurate and what would you like more than having 2
panels that are identical ?All plasmas seem bad compared to the Pentas imo.

Most likely when you have this 5% level of jobs then you also have budget for linux machines i bet ?

Yeah for regular hd tv stuff linux is a bit too much at the moment imo ?
If new Mac Pro will work out then it would be ideal.
If there is turnover to support linux version then there is no question at the moment but for small
shops like i have mac pro seems more reasonable just have to wait
for the machines to emerge and to see some comparison.—
