So it seems that the problem is with this exact machine.
I took the files to my second machine and it was perfect (ok it was light version but still)
Will see if the Resolve uninstall and re install helps tomorrow.

So now i checked if the same files are not in sub folder i can see them but only black in preview
window.This seems weird problem.
I checked in terminal and permissions seem to be similar
with files.The difference was that some show up and some do not.
Could it be that my quictime is broken or something like that ?
Any pointers how to diagnose that ?

No, what i mean i see the shortcut from the menu.
Lets say option + P
i press that.
Nothing 🙂
another one i saw yesterday was option + 5
option + 4 worked and option +6 but not option + 5.
So it is a bit of a mystery for me.

You should ask for fps for sure from your client.
If on long row of images then you definitely have to break it up in scene cut.
It would be good idea to ask for reference file also so you can check it the
footage on your timeline is exactly the same.I also hope that they do not do dlx from Premiere / Encoder forced combo.
As for curve you should manage this part by yourself as
this is the whole point to have really flexible ad total control over it.—

I’m not.
Have been dealing with different editors on BM DL cards with mac and pc and they
can be affected of the files used.Yo should have more universal file format for seamless usage on multiple os.

Probably really depends on the feature and the amount of footage but i tend to work in one long timeline.
With adverts it is really handy to have different timelines like pointed out like 20 of them.
With proper naming they should be simple to identify.I’m thinking if you have timelines in folders how would you switch them fast ?
