    Hi.

Try to roll back one the version that was last to work with your setup.
If it does not work eny more then the reason might be elsewhere than in drivers.

    Hi.

I assume that just 10 bit sees colours etc differently (yuv maybe makes it).
I have encountered something similar with combustion.

If i render to 8 bits 4:2:2 then image gets a bit darker than the original.
If i do it with 10 bit 4:4:4 or rgb then it is fine.

    Base material is 8 bit.

It seems to me as RGB and CMYK differ littelebit in print world
so in video RGB and YUV have a slight difference also.
Logic behind those differ a bit.

Meybe i’m wrong but its just my idea.

    Hi.

I do not think problem is in Vista.
Now BM drivers do not go over 3 gigs even with win 64b XP Pro.
I hope it changes with vista drivers.

    Hi.

Does not Vista kill your speed?

    I have also 4400+

Will Vista drivers support more than 2 or 3 gigs of ram ?

But if i want to use meny apps at the same time then i’m in trouble ?

I think it is possible to get 1 gigs with 512 stics (2*512).
So it is possible to get 6 x 512 in theory.

Do you know if there will be newer version of driver which corrects this problem ?

    Hi.

    Sorry that i misled you.
Actually when i render as mjpg avi it renders but no file
gets on hdd. It just is not there. If i do
uncompressed 10 or 8 bits then it work perfectly.

Annother case is that i cannot import mov files
    with bm uncompressed format.

    Hi.

I have used some Matrox systems and i had to always calibrate input signal.
So it is not all BM fault i belive.

It changes with different sources also.

What i miss is output levels.
My betacam tends to do sometimes little darker images
    than captured from digibeta.

    Ok. Thanks.

Is there eny way to maintain original timecode when i
    convert from uncompressed to MJPG.
I capture from digibeta and get the same timecode as on tape which i
    need in my work.
But it seems to mee that afrer chanching compression method i’ll
loos timecode data. This is the main reason i started to ask about vanc.
